In Costa Rica, the school season extends from February through early December.  Children are required to wear a uniform, including school shoes. Considering the economic situation, sometimes shoes are inherited from older children, and some children may have only a single pair to wear while attending classes.

You can donate a pair of shoes to a child by bringing a pair with you on the trip.

Shoes must be black for school. Leather is preferable for durability.

Sizes 5-8 for boys and 4-7 for girls. 

Shoes will be collected on Wednesday before the nature walk.
