Sunday, September 29

Morning/Early Afternoon - Jewel of the Seas Embarkation

Please note: Arrive at least two hours before our 5 p.m. ship departure to allow time for arriving at the port, going through security and boarding the ship. (Be sure to note your boarding time listed on your boarding pass!)

3:30-4:30 p.m. - Registration/Welcome Reception

Meet/reconnect with home office staff and other cruise attendees as you pick up your registration packet, name badge and more.

5 p.m. - Departure from Boston

5:30 p.m. - Dinner in Main Dining Room (if Early Dining option was selected at registration)

The cruise registration form offers three dinner options: 1) Early Dining in the Main Dining Room with Modern Woodmen staff members and other cruise attendees at tables reserved just for Modern Woodmen; 2) Late Dining in the main Dining Room on your own; 3) My Time Dining (flexible daily dinner times in the Main Dining Room).

 

Monday, September 30

11 a.m. - 8 p.m. - Saint John, New Brunswick (Bay of Fundy)  

Explore Rockwood Park's zoo and historical site; shop Saint John City Market (North America's oldest!); or nosh on bacon-wrapped scallops and lobster rolls. Wanna go on a Royal Caribbean shore excursion? Check out this RCCL webpage.

Tuesday, October 1

All Day - Cruising

Wednesday, October 2

7 a.m. -4 p.m. - Halifax, Nova Scotia  

Marvel at historic architecture or enjoy a seafood restaurant, museum or boutique. You might whale-watch on a tour boat, learn about the Titanic or tour Peggy's Cove lighthouse. Wanna explore more of Halifax? Visit the Royal Caribbean shore excursions page.

Thursday, October 3

8 a.m. - 6 p.m. - Sydney, Nova Scotia

Your day might include a tour of a 1744 fortress; the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site or a Celtic village; shopping for wool, leather, glass or art treasures; or savoring a meal of salmon or mussels. Wanna take a Sydney shore excursion? Check out this Royal Caribbean webpage.

Friday, October 4

All Day - Cruising

Saturday, October 5

8 a.m. - 6 p.m. - Portland, Maine

Marvel at six(!) nearby lighthouses; savor a potato donut at The Holy Donut; cruise around the Casco Bay islands on the ferry; and check out 25 microbreweries. Want more ideas for exploring the city? Check out the Visit Portland website.

4:30-5:30 p.m. - Farewell Reception

Enjoy live music, hot and cold canapes and premium brand cocktails as you bid a fond farewell to Modern Woodmen home office staff and other cruise attendees.

Sunday, October 6

7 a.m. - Arrival in Port of Boston
